In order to access the biometric template database, It is possible only through the WBS(Windows Biometric Service) on the Windows operating system. (If the 3rd part applications want to access, it is necessary to use the WBS.)

WBF's Microsoft Passport security method uses PKI (Public Key Infrastructure) and the key is stored in Hardware of TPM(Trusted Platform Module). According to the basic policy of Microsoft, it is encrypted by Software.

The implementation method applied to Bio-MOUSE follows the security policy of Microsoft, and the part about biometric information storage is not directly involved.
